What a day! Today I was informed that I was nominated as a Microsoft Regional Director for Switzerland, starting in April 2016 for the next 2 years!

Now what is a Microsoft Regional Director (RD)? First, they do NOT work for Microsoft. It’s a group of approx. 150 independent technology experts and community champions from around the world, whereof 2 are from Switzerland. However, compared to Microsoft MVPs, they are not focused on a handful of technologies, but help drive the complete Microsoft stack forward in both a technical and strategic way. And they work as a “connector” between the community, customers and Microsoft.

I am super honored to start my activities as a Microsoft RD, but am still a proud Microsoft CDM MVP – and will hopefully be renewed in that program as well on April 1 2016
